Ko Samui or Koh Samui
is beach life. Not only at the famous beach parties. The
bigger beaches like Chaweng Beach are heavy used during the day by all
kind of "flying" traders and in the night the restaurants encroaching
the beach almost down to the waterline.
The most active of Samui beaches is
Chaweng beach. Close runner up is Lamai Beach and Maenam Beach. Most
of Samui beaches have beach resorts, beach bungalows and all kind
of other beach accommodations right behind.
Naturally some of Samui beaches have busy
crows and that means noise, but it's very easy to find some
stretches of sand without noise.
Koh
Samui is extremely commercialized
but has some very attractive
beaches with breathtaking panoramas
almost everywhere, this is a real tradeoff to make someone travel to
Samui Island.
Hot nightlife on certain parts of the beach is almost for sure on every day.also in Koh Phangan
or Ko Phangan nearby.
Beer fill up
stations, some call them bars line the roads and the beaches, a might be companion is
almost for sure waiting there.

The beach landscape of Koh Samui has a lot to offer.
Along Kho Samui beach coast are warm tropical emerald colored waters lined with palm trees weeping in the breeze.
Granite boulder beaches, fine sandy beaches and beaches with limestone ground.
The beaches are busy during the day and during the night. If you want to escape this and want to have a quired beach life take a taxi or a "motocyce" and drive along the ring road.
Within a couple of minutes you will find exactly the right beach for you.
In the evening just stroll along the beach and have some tasty seafood in one of the restaurants set into the sand.
After maybe take some beers in the bar nearby. Everything is on the beach.
If you are alone there will be a companion waiting for you also on the beach somewhere, its real Samui beach life.
If you intend to buy something from the beach hawker, first bargaining is a must and second check the item carefully before you pass the money since many times they send the junk out to be sold on the beach since you wont find the beach hawker anyway again. |
